Does Libre Office convert Microsoft Office Files?

By default, DocConverter will convert Microsoft Office documents if Microsoft Office is installed in your machine. Otherwise, DocConverter uses LibreOffice to convert Microsoft Office files. 

If desired, you can force DocConverter to use LibreOffice for converting Microsoft Office files.

1. From the Start Menu, select ActivePDF > ActivePDF User Interface. The Common User Interface opens.


2. Click ActivePDF DocConverterin the navigation pane.


3. Click DocConverter Signatures.


4. Double-click the WordSignature Name and change the Assigned Processor to Default.


5. Repeat for the Exceland PowerPoint Signature Names.


6. Close the Common User Interface window.


7. Restart the DocConverter services.
