Customers have an issue moving from an evaluation version of DocConverter to a production license due to the V12 engine option.
Once the install is done using the V12 option the only way to fix the watermark issue is to uninstall and reinstall with the other option.
From the Install Option screen: Select a DocConverter installation option, then click Next.
Note: For DocConverter Release 10.1.0, the installation options are Standard or Enterprise. For Release 10.2.0, those options changed to Express or Custom.
- Express Installation (Recommended): The quickest way to start converting documents. Express uses the default V12 Engine or LibreOffice® converters. If unsure which option to select, choose Express.
Express Installation begins immediately.
- Custom Installation (Advanced): More options to customize your installation, such as creating or specifying an Administrator service account and password, or selecting the converter(s) to use. Select V12, LibreOffice, or Microsoft Office converters (if Microsoft Office is already installed on your system).
Note: You can select either LibreOffice or Microsoft Office, but not both.
To enable the V12 engine customers need to purchase an add-on feature key that unlocks the V12 engine feature. Please contact email@example.com if you are interested in more information.
